"Cabal Online is stylish action MMORPG game, set in a 3rd Person View perspective, which emulates console action gaming. The game''s name (Cabal) derives from Kabbalah (a word that has numerous spelling variations), the mystical interpretation of the Hebrew scripture, and originally meant either an occult doctrine or a secret.ESTsoft has tried addressing three of the major issues found in the MMORPG games nowadays, these include PKing (Player Killing), Tedious Killing (Repetitive Grinding) and Red-Eye (Overplaying a game).

For PKer''s, the penalties surpass by far the benefits of a player killing another player. These include not being able to interact with NPC''s (shopping, questing, etc) and dropping items if killed as well losing honor points and being confined to a "Labyrinth".The second, they implemented a system known as the "Combo System" which emulates the button timing hit found on some consoles games, this gives the player an advantage both game play wise as well breaks from the repetitiveness of ''click-slash-wait'' elements. ESTsoft has implemented a game feature in which the more ''break-time'' a person takes away from the game (being logged out), the more EXP (Experience) they will gain when killing a monster/completing a quest, sometimes up to two times the default value.

Storyline
In Cabal Online, the story tells that long ago people were creatures who only sought after desire and greed (two of the seven sins). This in turn has led the CABAL, a secretive doctrine, to cleanse the land on which the people lived. During this time of turmoil and great devastation, seven great masters of Force Power rose and led the remaining survivors to rebuild a new civilization.For the next thousand years, people have lived in peace, but the CABAL are conspiring a new evil again to cleanse the land once more. They are breeding a child to be the new king of the people, and so once again devastation may ensue. This is where the hero (players) have to face the invaders of Nevareth and uncover the conspiracy behind it and defeat it before it''s too late.

Characters
There are a total of 6 combat skills known as the "Authentic Six" which have been inherited among the Nevarethians. Among the Authentic Six, the "Warrior", "Blader" and "Wizard" skills were established before Nevareth Exodus, the Honorable Age. According to theory, at the time when Core Technology was at its peak, hundreds of groups were practicing and studying their own unique skills. However, the current skills were developed by the first generation of the 7 Sages, based on the Nevareth Exodus survivors'' knowledge.Among the Authentic Six, "Force Archer", "Force Shielder" and "Force Blader" did not originate from the Sage Tower like the other three skills. They have been developed independently over hundreds of years since the Nevareth Exodus. In the past they were referred to as "Force Handler", but this has now become a set term which refers to all of the 6 authentic skills."
